The Elf on the Shelf: Day 4

Kai came up the stairs and got Brandon out of bed wanting to play a game. He took Brandon by the had took him downstairs and attempted to convince him to play Starwars Monopoly. After some convincing Brandon got him to settle on Jenga. Peyton then wanted in and hurried and got dressed and ready to play. About the time I got some breakfast made for her she noticed our Christmas Elf Kevin sneaking a little Breakfast of his own.

Kevin was literally hanging from the chandelier spying on the kids with his breakfast ih hand.

Apparently  Christmas Elves on the go like a Nutrigrain bar in the morning to power up for long day. After breakfast I took Peyton in to get her hair done and get her ready for school. We were all busy. Brandon getting ready for work , and Peyton getting ready to head out the door to school.

When Peyton was about to run out the door to the Bus she noticed that Kevin had finished his breakfast and made a huge mess in the process. Peyton said "Mom he really is a real Elf". She was standing there in disbelief as she realized that we really do have one of Santa's Magic Elves staying with us until Christmas. The kids were so excited. I wasn't so excited to clean up after this little messy Elf.

So for all of you that have your doubts about Christmas Magic, my kids can testify that it is real. I hope you all are getting in the Spirit of Christmas and enjoying your Holiday season.

The Elf on the Shelf: Day 3

Our Elf on the Shelf decided to live up to his name and found a hiding place on the plant shelf. It took the kids all morning to find him. Peyton actually found him right as she was on her way to leave for school. Can you see where he is hiding?

I think Peyton was glad to find Kevin came back after last night. She got sent to bed early for not minding and yelling at her mom and dad. She woke up and went right to work trying to get off the naughty list. She let the dog out to do his business, fed the dog, and cleaned up the front room. She got ready really quick and got all her books in her bag and ready to go. The whole time Brandon noticed she was searching for Santa's little spy. When she found him we could tell se was a little relived that he came back after her meltdown last night.

The Elf on the Shelf: Day 2

Well that little Elf Kevin has been at his game of hide and seek once again. Peyton woke up at 6:00 am and came and got Brandon out of bed to help her hunt down Kevin. I guess one of the perks of being blind is you dont get asked to play hide and seek before the sun comes up in the morning. It took her about 30 min or so to hunt him down but she found him hiding out in the Kitchen. She told Brandon that he must have been hungry after a long trip back from the North Pole, and that was the reason he found a place to hide in the Kitchen. Kai came right up stairs to the Kitchen and found him right off. It did help that Peyton asked him if he could see him when he was standing right under his hiding place.

If you missed where Kevin was hiding here is a close up of him. He was hiding in our Apple Jar with that same little smirk on his face.
