It has been a long time since I posted a recipe. I am so sorry! I feel really bad, but we have been so busy the past few months that we have not had time to get anything posted. We have taken pictures of like 10 new recipes but have just struggled to get them posted. To apologize for being such a slacker I am posting these yummy cookies. This is one of my families all time favorits and I am sure you will love them. These cookies are super easy to make and your family will go crazy for them.

I had two very special helpers to make this recipe a success. My 8 year old daughter Peyton and my 5 year old son Kai were a big help.

This is what you will need (I always double this recipe because they go fast):

3 Boxes of Milk Duds

1/2 Cup Peanut Butter

1/2 Cups White Sugar

1 1/4 Cup Flour

3/4 tsp. Baking Soda

1/2 Cup Margarine

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

1 Egg

1/2 tsp. Baking Powder

1/2 tsp. Salt

Here are the steps:

Beat margarine, Sugars, Peanut Butter, and Egg until fluffy.

Now add the rest of the ingredients together.

Put dough in the fridge for 1 hour. (If you make these for Family Home Evening this is a good time to have your lesson and activity.)

Put little globs of peanut butter on the sheet and put it back in the oven for 1 min to melt. This will make it spread easier.

Now we will make a chocolate frosting to cover the peanut butter.

Chocolate Carmel Brownies

This is probably the best brownie recipe that you will ever try. It is super easy and has a taste to die for. When I first got this recipe I made it three times in a two week span. They are really that good.

Ingredients

1 German chocolate cake mix 1 can of evaporated milk (5oz Can) 40 carmel (basically a whole package) 1 cup of milk chocolate chips 1 stick of margarine

 Instructions

First mix the cake mix, 1/3 c. evap milk, and melted margarin in a bowl.

Now press 2/3 of that mixture in a greased and floured 9x13 pan.

Bake that for 6 minutes at 350.

While the first layer is baking melt your carmels with the remaining 1/3 c. of evap milk.

Now remove the first layer from oven and sprinkle with 1 cup of chocolate chips.

Now it is time to pour and spread carmel on top.

Now place the rest of the cake mix mixture on top in little clumps, and then put back in the oven for 11-15 minutes

You will love this brownie recipe. It is by far one of my favorits. Lets face it Caramel and Chocolate in one gooey package is just amazing. Try this I beg you and you will thank me for it. Let me know how you like it in the comments below. Enjoy.
