No Bake Smores Bars

My kids found this recipe on Pinterest. It was super easy to make and the kids loved it.

Ingredients

½ cup heavy cream
2 cups (approximately 5 bars) Hershey's chocolate
3½ cups mini marshmallows
4 cups Golden Grahams

Directions

Line an 8-inch-square baking pan with heavy-duty foil and set aside.

In a large microwave safe bowl, add the heavy cream and heat on high in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, until it starts to bubble. Add the milk chocolate and whisk until smooth, about 1-2 minutes. Allow cooling, stirring occasionally, for 5-8 minutes.

Add marshmallows and golden Grahams and stir to coat.

Spread mixture into prepared pan, pressing down lightly with a rubber spatula. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm. Cut into bars and enjoy!

Rolo Pecan Pretzel Turtles

This is actually the first recipe I ever shared on my blog back in December 6th 2010. I make them every year and my family loves them.

Prep time: 5 mins

Cook time: 5 mins

Total time: 10 mins

This is a super easy Christmas Treat that the whole family will not be able to get enough of. They look and taste amazing and will be a big hit with the kids and any guests you like enough to share with.

Ingredients

1 package of Rolo candies

1 bag of Mini Pretzels

1 bag of Pecans

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. Arrange the pretzels in a single layer on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Place one Rolo candy on each pretzel.

Bake for 5 minutes. While the candy is warm, press a pecan onto each candy covered pretzel. Let them cool for 5 min and enjoy.

They look and taste amazing and will be a big hit with the kids and any guests you like enough to share with. Peyton thinks she doesn’t like pecans so we have switched out a few with Peanut M&M candies. This is my new guilty pleasure and they only take bout 10 minuets start to finish.
