It has been a long time since I posted a recipe. I am so sorry! I feel really bad, but we have been so busy the past few months that we have not had time to get anything posted. We have taken pictures of like 10 new recipes but have just struggled to get them posted. To apologize for being such a slacker I am posting these yummy cookies. This is one of my families all time favorits and I am sure you will love them. These cookies are super easy to make and your family will go crazy for them.
I had two very special helpers to make this recipe a success. My 8 year old daughter Peyton and my 5 year old son Kai were a big help.
This is what you will need (I always double this recipe because they go fast):
3 Boxes of Milk Duds
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
1/2 Cups White Sugar
1 1/4 Cup Flour
3/4 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 Cup Margarine
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
Here are the steps:
Beat margarine, Sugars, Peanut Butter, and Egg until fluffy.
Now add the rest of the ingredients together.
Put dough in the fridge for 1 hour. (If you make these for Family Home Evening this is a good time to have your lesson and activity.)
Make into little balls with a Milk Dud in the center. Then roll in Sugar and place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
When they come out of the oven place them on wax paper and allow them to cool for 5 min.
My husband and I love to eat them when they are hot because the chocolate and the carmel are so yummy and gooey.
I know you and your family will love these easy yummy cookies. Please let me know how you like them in the comments below. Enjoy!
