Baby Carter is finally here

Today has just been amazing. We welcomed our new baby boy Carter Keanu Rasmussen into our family. He was born at 1:39 pm and was 8 lbs and 20.5 inches long. He is just a perfect little boy. It was so nice to hold him for the first time. I cant explain the feelings I have being able to feel his little face and touch his little hands. I love him so much. It is like a missing part of my heart was just restored. I feel so blessed to be able to have such a beautiful healthy angel. It is always humbling to think that this little soul just came to me from my Heavenly Father. What an amazing day for our family. I could never put into words how blessed I feel. The only thing that could ever be better is to be able to see him. That is really hard for me to hold my new child for the first time and not be able to know what they look like. I know he is beautiful because their are some things you just dont see with your eyes.

I asked my husband to post lost of pictures for my family and friends. My heart is so full right now. This has been an amazing pregnancy from the fun way we were able to tell our family we were having a baby on The Doctors, to this wonderful day. All I can say is it has been amazing!

The Elf on the Shelf: Day 4

Kai came up the stairs and got Brandon out of bed wanting to play a game. He took Brandon by the had took him downstairs and attempted to convince him to play Starwars Monopoly. After some convincing Brandon got him to settle on Jenga. Peyton then wanted in and hurried and got dressed and ready to play. About the time I got some breakfast made for her she noticed our Christmas Elf Kevin sneaking a little Breakfast of his own.

Kevin was literally hanging from the chandelier spying on the kids with his breakfast ih hand.

Apparently  Christmas Elves on the go like a Nutrigrain bar in the morning to power up for long day. After breakfast I took Peyton in to get her hair done and get her ready for school. We were all busy. Brandon getting ready for work , and Peyton getting ready to head out the door to school.

When Peyton was about to run out the door to the Bus she noticed that Kevin had finished his breakfast and made a huge mess in the process. Peyton said "Mom he really is a real Elf". She was standing there in disbelief as she realized that we really do have one of Santa's Magic Elves staying with us until Christmas. The kids were so excited. I wasn't so excited to clean up after this little messy Elf.

So for all of you that have your doubts about Christmas Magic, my kids can testify that it is real. I hope you all are getting in the Spirit of Christmas and enjoying your Holiday season.

Watch us on The Doctors Monday

We will be on The Doctors Monday October 3rd. In Utah it will be on Channel 4 at 9:00 am. If you live out side of Utah you can check for the time and station on The Doctors Web site. We can't talk a lot about what was talked about on the show until it has aired but we will post and fill you in on all of it Monday night. The Doctors had a great surprise for me and I am so excited for all of you to see it. It has been really hard to not be able to talk about the show with anyone. Make sure to set your DVR and check back with me on the blog after you watch it on Monday.
