Our Story Part 4 First Kiss
The last time I sat down and and wrote about our story I promised you that it would not be another two months between posts. It turns out that I was totally telling the truth because it turned out to be four months. I am so sorry the time just flew by. This summer has just been so busy for our family. It seems like most weekends we have been running all over the place.
So last time I told you that I had graduated from Snow College in 1998. For some strange reason I came back. I don't know why I came back, other than it felt right. I was having so much fun. Now this is where my story gets good. Well at least this is my favorite part.
It was January 4th and I had just finished my first day of classes. I came back to my apartment and walked into the kitchen and there he was. There was a magical haze the billowed through the room. I heard Angels singing, and before my eyes the most amazing creature I had ever laid eyes apron. He sparkled in the sun light and when I took his hand it was cold as ice. His name was Edward.... Just kidding it was just Brandon.
There was one crazy thing. The thought came to my mind that he was the one I was going to marry. I know it sounds crazy but that was the first thing I thought when I saw him. The reason it was so crazy to me is that I had been seeing a guy that I really liked before the Christmas break, and was really looking forward to continuing that relationship. That day would forever change my life.
The next month I would see Brandon almost every day. He would come over and hang out with me and my roommates all the time. Brandon was good friends with my roommate Melissa. He would always come over and hangout with her and type papers on her computer in her room. We became really good friends. He was dating a few girls so I really didn't think that he was that interested.
Brandon came over on Valentines and was up in Melissa's room talking to her when I came home. We stayed up talking a few hours. Then Melissa fell asleep. Brandon and I sat and talked for a while and then he kissed me. I have to say that it was the best, most perfectly amazing kiss. If you have ever seen the show Never Been Kissed with Drew Barrymore she explains her first kiss, and it was just how I felt.
"That thing, that moment, when you kiss someone and everything around becomes hazy and the only thing in focus is you and this person and you realize that that person is the only person that you're supposed to kiss for the rest of your life, and for one moment you get this amazing gift and you want to laugh and you want to cry because you feel so lucky that you found it and so scared that that it will go away all at the same time."
I can truly say that our lips were made for each other. From that moment on I knew that I would spend the rest of Eternity with Brandon.
