My Amazing Baby Shower

IMG_0304.jpg

I have some amazing friends. Two of my friends Caitlin and Mardi gave me a baby shower tonight. It was a really neat idea. They made it a freezer meal baby shower. So each one of my friends that came brought me a freezer meal that I can just pop in the oven as soon as the baby is here. I am so excited to have some meals that will be really easy. It will be nice not to worry about cooking for a while after the baby is here. I also had one friend that brought me a gift certificate to go eat out. So Brandon and I will save that so we can go out on a date together after the baby is born. They made some amazing food and treats. They had a Chicken Salad Sandwich that was to die for. I will have to share the Recipe with you later on the blog. I want to thank all of my friends who came to the shower. You are all so amazing. I hope you know how much your friendship means to me. I also want to give a special thanks to Caitlin and Mardi for the amazing party. You both mean the world to me. Thank you so much. [gallery]

The Elf on the Shelf: Day 13

Kevin left us another mess to clean up. The kids found a pile of Christmas Kisses wrappers in the Kitchen. They knew that it had to have been Kevin. It took just a few seconds and they found that crazy little Elf.

He was hiding in our Hutch in our Kitchen right above the Candy bowl where they found all the wrappers. The kids were so excited to catch him in the act of eating our Christmas Candy. Peyton told me that he should have just asked us for candy and she would have given him some. So we now know that Kevin has a sweet tooth. I think I will be hiding all the sweets until Christmas.

The Elf on the Shelf: Day 12

It took almost all day but our kids finally found Kevin. He was almost camouflaged hiding up in a basket in the Kitchen. The kids looked all morning before Peyton went to school and had no luck. Kai wondered around all day looking but Kevin was just in a really clever place.

Can you see him? The Kids were really impressed with his hiding place. As soon as the kids found him they had to call Brandon at work. They get so excited. It is really fun to see them all proud of the fact that they are getting the best of our Elf.
