Biscuits & Gravy Breakfast Casserole

10 oz tube of buttermilk biscuit dough
6 eggs
1 pkg powdered country gravy pouch (I make my own gravy from the sausage grease)
1 lb sausage, any flavor
1 c cheese, shredded
1/2 c milk
salt and pepper, to taste

1 Preheat oven to 350. Take a 13x9-in pan and spray with cooking spray (or smear with butter). Cut biscuit dough into 1" pieces, and line the bottom of the pan.

2 Brown the sausage & drain.

3 Whisk eggs and milk with a pinch of salt and pepper, then pour over the pan.

4 Scatter the browned sausage over the biscuit pieces, then top with shredded cheese.

5 Make gravy according to instructions, and pour over the pan. I actually make my own gravy when I brown the sausage.

6 Bake for 30-45 minutes, depending how hot your oven runs.

7 Cut and serve. It's delicious warm right out of the oven!

Little Smokies in a Blanket

This is a little breakfast treat that we like to make for the kids. They love them! I actually love them as well. Im sure most of you have made these or had them before at a party. I just want to share them so you will know what a great breakfast treat they are. Works great on Sundays if you have 9am church. Only two ingredients...

2 tubes of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

One Package of Cheddar Little Smokies (You can use any type of smokies but we love them with the cheddar ones)

Wrap two smokies in each crescent roll.

Cook crescent rolls according to directions on crescent roll tube. They will come out golden brown and ready for hungry little ones.

These never last very long at our house. They are crazy quick and easy.  I know you will love them. If you try them please let me know how you like them in the comments below.

Easy Thin Pancakes

This a very quick breakfast idea to get food on the table fast. My kids love these and ask for them every Saturday.

1/4 cup margarine (1/2 square) 1 cup flour 1 cup milk 3 Tablespoons sugar 3 eggs

Melt butter in your pan. While butter is belting mix all other ingredients.

When butter is melted pour it into batter.

Here is a trick, when the pancakes are ready to flip they will have little bubbles in the middle. (That little trick is not very helpful for a blind girl)

As you can see these pancakes are a lot like crapes. We use all kinds of toppings on them.

My kids love to have them with Cinnamon and Sugar. Peyton call them "Pixie Dust Pancakes".

When we top them with cinnamon and sugar the kids will roll them up and eat them.

You can also top them with fruit or jam and a little whip cream. I tried them with some Rasberries from out back yard. If you tries these let me know in the Comments below how your kids like them. Enjoy!
