The Elf on the Shelf: Day 19

[gallery] Well I think that we have completely wore out our Christmas Elf Kevin. The Kids found him right before lunch tucked in for a long winters nap. He was in the babies room sleeping on a mini pillow pet. His fancy Tux he has been sporting was all folded nicely by the little bed he set up. The kids were excited to see he was hiding in Carter's room (Carter is the name of our little boy that is due Feb 2nd). Peyton said, "now he has hid in all of our bedrooms now". I think that the kids are getting really excited for the new baby. The room is all set up and waiting for his arrival. I know I will be glad to get him here.

[gallery] Who let the dogs out? This is the scene that we woke up to today. Apparently all the dogs in the house are not big fans of our little Christmas spy. The kids were loving it. Kevin was hanging on for his life. I am sure we will be laughing about this all day long. I hope that you are all having as much fun as we are this Christmas Season. What a wonderful time of year.

The Elf on the Shelf: Day 17

Has it really been 17 days that our Elf has been causing mischef at our house? The time is really flying. Christmas will be here before long. Kevin was really easy to spot today. He was hanging out in Peyton's Pink Princess Sock. He was still sporting his fancy Tux but was not hanging with the ladies this time. Peyton was actually disappointed that he was not with Barbie. She thought that they made a good couple. Kai was just disappointed that he was not hiding in his sock. It is funny to listen to all the little conversations that the kids have about Kevin. They speculate where he will hide next, or what Barbie he likes most. They were discussing how jealous Ken must be. Really, what dose a 7 and 3 year old know about being jealous? What will he do next? I guess we will find out tomorrow...
