Making home made caramels is easier than you would think. This is a family favorite. We made a batch on Saturday night and I couldn’t keep my husband out of them.
Ingredients
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • fill can with brown sugar
  • fill can with sugar
  • fill can with Karo syrup
  • 2 3/4 squares (cubes) of real butter
  • Bring everything to a boil, and keep stirring mixture. Cook to medium ball stage (238-240 degrees) If you over heat they will go harder. Put in a buttered cake pan and let cool.

This is a super easy Christmas Treat that the whole family will not be able to get enough of. They look and taste amazing and will be a big hit with the kids and any guests you like enough to share with.
Ingredients
  • 1 package of Rolo candies
  • 1 bag of Mini Pretzels
  • 1 bag of Pecans
Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. Arrange the pretzels in a single layer on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Place one Rolo candy on each pretzel. Bake for 5 minutes. While the candy is warm, press a pecan onto each candy covered pretzel. Let them cool for 5 min and enjoy.
  2. They look and taste amazing and will be a big hit with the kids and any guests you like enough to share with. Peyton thinks she doesn’t like pecans so we have switched out a few with Peanut M&M candies. This is my new guilty pleasure and they only take bout 10 minuets start to finish.
