Grandma Howell's Lemon Cheese Cake

This is a super easy Lemon Cheese Cake recipe that my Grandma Howell used to make. It is one of my favorits. This is actually the first time I have ever tried to make it and it turned out so yummy!

This is what you will need...

1 Package Lemon Jell-o (You can substitute Lime Jell-o)

1 Cup Sugar

1 Can Evaporated Milk (Chilled in the Freezer)

1 Cup Hot Water

5 TB Lemon Juice

Gram Crackers

Chill the Evaporated Milk in the freezer. Start by mixing Jell-o, water, lemon juice and sugar. Let this mixture set up until t is syrupy.

Crush gram crackers in a 9 x 13 inch pan.

Crush the crackers evenly in the pan and cover the entire bottom of the pan.

Whip the Chilled Evaporated Milk until it stands in peaks. Then add the Lemon jell-o mixture and mix the two together.

Gently pour the mixture into the pan lined with gram cracker crumbs. Now sprinkle more cracker crumbs over the top. Let cheese cake set up in the fridge for about three hours until firm.

My kids went crazy for this lemon cheese cake. It is so easy to make and so yummy! As always let me know in the comments section below if you try it. I know you will love it.

Easy Baked Chicken and Rice

This is probably on of the easiest recipes I have ever come across. There is only 4 ingredients, 5 if you want to count water. So if you are looking for a simple and wonderfully tasty dinner idea you will love this one.

This is all you will need...

2 Cans of Cream of Mushroom Soup

1 Cup of Minute Rice

1  1/2 Cups Water

1 Package Lipton Onion Soup Mix

5 - 6 Chicken Brests

Mix Cream of Mushroom Soup, Rice and Water in the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan.  Top with Chicken Brests and sprinkle with the package of onion soup mix. That is all the prep you need! Now just throw in in the oven at 350 degrees for 2 hours and your dinner is done.

Lemon Water

This is super easy to make and is so refreshing on a hot summer day.

This is what you will need...

5 Quarts of water

1 TB Citric Acid (You can get this at your family Pharmacy)

1 TB Lemon Extract

3 Cups Sugar (Or Splenda)

When I am making this for a large group of people, like a ward party of a family BBQ I tripple the recipe in a Gott container. For the Water I use 3 gallons and then add a bag of ice. By using that amount I have found as the ice melts it will not get tasting watered down. This is such a hit with both kids and adults. Tastes great and is so refreshing at a backyard BBQ on a hot summer day.
