Elf on the Shelf: Day 13, 2012

Kai spotted our Christmas Elf Kevin on the way up the stairs. He was hanging from the light in our entry.

We decided that he was hanging around in the entry to welcome my husbands Mom and Dad that came to visit. Our kids thought that he was so excited to see Grandma and Grandpa that he was waiting by the door. It is funny to hear the kids trying to analyze why our Elf hides where he hides and doses the things that we catch him doing.

So on another funny note. We found this today. We always thought that it was three wise men that came to bring gifts to the baby Jesus. We found out to day that it was two wise men and Batman. Karson my brother in law said that Batman brought the gift of vengeance. We all got a good laugh out of this but we dont know if it was Kevin or one of the kids that set it up that way.

Elf on the Shelf: Day 12, 2012

Well it looks like our Christmas Elf Kevin is still hanging out with the Toy Story gang. Today Kaison found Kevin our Elf in the Kitchen. We are not quite sure what happened but he was all tangled up in Slinky Dog.

We dont know how he got there but he looks very stuck at the moment. Kaison wondered if the Dog ate him. Who really knows? Never a dull minute with this little Elf.

Elf on the Shelf: Day 11, 2012

Our Elf on the Shelf was actually on the shelf today.

He was not alone. Looks like Kevin the Elf should have let the Rex win at Candy Land. Kevin was high up on the shelf in Rex's mouth. The kids got a good laugh. Kaison was a little worried about how his Toy Story Rex would get down off the shelf.

Getting a good picture of Peyton pointing at Kevin was absolutely priceless....

We found out that Peyton is a little scared of heights. Every time she tried to point at Kevin she would freak out. We were cracking up.
