When the kids woke up they found a great surprise waiting for them. Kevin our Elf had made Christmas cookies. He also left the dishes for me to clean.

Kevin was hanging upside down above the cookies with paper snow flakes all around him.

After a while we realized that there was no way that the kids would stop eating cookies long enough to have breakfast. So we just got them all hyped up on sugar and then sent them off to school.

Kevin really knows how to put a smile on our kids faces. They are already getting worried about Kevin leaving to go back to live with Santa.

Elf on the Shelf: Day 17, 2012

When Kaison said his prayers last night he asked for Kevin to not only bring him the treat he had promised but he also wanted him to hide in his room. Kevin our Christmas Elf must have heard because that is exactly what he did. Kai ran up the stairs to tell us all about it at 5:30 am.

Kai was so excited. Kevin left them some Candy and a Little People play set of Santa and is Sleigh. Kai spent most of the day down in his room wishing he could play with it, but of course he cant touch Kevin.

Elf on the Shelf: Day 16, 2012

When Peyton went to get ready in the bathroom today she found a note.

Kevin had a little message for the Kids. He apparently could tell that the kids needed some bribery to get them to help mom out around the house.

It took all day long for the kids to finally find our Christmas Elf. Kai is not in his PJ's because he found him when he woke up. He is in his PJ's because he is on his way to bed.

That little Elf really had the kids stumped today. It looks like he has a thing for island girls. The kids really worked hard to make sure they helped me today so I have to thank Kevin for that little note. They were really big helpers so I guess they will have a surprise waiting for them tomorrow.
